Going Green

Nowadays the Green movement seems to be completely mainstream. Which is great, aside from some large corporations using the movement for “green washing”, instead of making real ecological changes. Added to this is the information revolution, and the result is a plethora of web based pages and social networking sites (Facebook, MySpace, Ning, etc) that have vast amounts of information related to “green”. If you Google the words “going green”, the top 10 results are:

1)goinggreen.com
2)thegreenguide.com
3)thedailygreen.com
4)treehugger.com
5)msnbc.msn.com/id/17950339/ Really?
6)worldwatch.org
7)time.com More news organizations…
8 )planetgreen.discovery.com
9)wikipedia.org/wiki/Environmentalism
10)blogs.whattheythink.com/going-green

Number 10 is actually a blog, which is the newest and one of the best ways to convey information. (You’re reading a blog right now…)

What I would love to know is, what are your favorite green sites? Post your comments below.
