Yesterday I posted Coco Gordon’s letter to David about not being able to come to OACC this year because of the flooding in Colorado. Coco is in Lyon’s and needs to stay to try to have “input into the Wastewater rebuild decisions”. This post caught the eye of Joyce Main of Colorado who was moved enough become our newest Co-Sponsor, and wrote a response to Coco’s story. Here is what Joyce had to say-
I’m an old OACC fan from years ago. I have connections to Lyons, CO and wonder if Coco lives in Big Elk Meadows. I don’t know if I can contact her directly or not but I’m on the list to bring supplies in when it’s possible. I was hoping to actually come in person this year but cannot. Hope all is well with everyone working with OACC now.

The thought of two long time OACClings getting together in a time of need in Colorado is very touching to me. That is part of what OACC is in my eyes; community. A community that spans the Ozarks, the states that the Ozarks stretch across, and has spread across the continent. This makes me eager to experience next year’s continental congress gathering…
