Retired commercial grape grower Joyce McMurtrey, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, first came to OACC in 2019, when she photographed the gathering as a favor for Vendoni Woodfairy. She fell in love with its 1970s vibe and the Chautauqua-of-the-Ozarks experience and has been participating ever since, often with her granddaughter, Amelia Johnson, of Clever, Missouri. Amelia began college this fall and is having a wonderful time exploring her love of technology. She continues to value OACC as a place that is interesting, welcoming, and fun.
