Co-Sponsors

Dear Friends,

The 33rd annual Ozark Area Community Congress (OACC) will be Oct 5-7,2012,at Ananda Kanan Ozark Retreat Center, near Willow Springs,Missouri. OACC is the longest running bioregional congress in the country. We write to ask for your support and participation in this long-lived Ozark tradition as a Co-Sponsorfor OACC 33.

Being a Co-sponsor for OACC means making a $120 contribution. Co-sponsors can be an individual, group or a business. In appreciation of your contribution you will receive 2 adult admissions for the entire 2 1/2 days (a $90 value),recognition in the printed and e-mail invitations, and your name will be listed on the website as acosponsor. You will also be entitled to reserve one exhibit space ($15 value) at the event. You will be greatly appreciated by all and receive inexpensive exposure for your business or organization!

(You can now make your co-sponsorship donation online through Paypal on the website.)

OACC has always been about creating a clean and sustainable future through promoting ecological design alternatives at all levels, including agriculture, forestry, education, economics, energy, and everything society needs to function. As we celebrate the 32nd annual OACC,our theme this year is Energy of the Ozarks. For the true energy of the Ozarks,we return to what we have been naturally given in conscious alliance with nature. Sun,wind, water, gifts of the woods, fields, gardens and soil, amplified by our responsible innovations, celebrated by our home grown culture through the best of the old and the new.

The congress takes place in a family-oriented “village” setting that we create together. We come together to exchange not only practical ideas but our dreams as well. Village life includes making spontaneous music, having fun,and celebrating our bioregional culture through song, dance, poetry, performance art,and at our much anticipated Coffehouse talent show.

OACC is organized and run by volunteers. It is not a money-making event for any individual or organization. With your help, families can attend who might not otherwise be able to. In this way OACC is a model for community cooperation and we have always been committed to keeping costs as low as possible. Co-sponsors have been the key to our success in making this happen. Large food donations are sometimes accepted as part or all of a co-sponsorship. (Please call Michelle for pre-approval).

This year you can pay for co-sponsorships through our website using Paypal. Or you can pay by check, made out to:Ozarks Resource Center and send the Co-Sponsor form with your contribution to:
