Preparations for the 39th annual Ozark Area Community Congress (OACC) are in progress. This year our theme is Health & Wellness: People & Place. The theme expresses our hopes that actions we take today are leading towards a future that is healthy, thriving, and filled with enthusiasm for life in the Ozarks.
For those of us who call this place home, living here can be both a challenge and a joy. Addressing the challenges and appreciating the joys gives our life depth and meaning. This year at OACC we’ll feature presenters and topics that lighten the challenges and make the most of the Ozarks’ strengths.
We invite you to join us in supporting OACC, which offers hope for reconfiguring our lives and finding creative, innovative responses to the challenges we face. For nearly four decades — OACC and the network of extraordinary people that comprise it – have offered a wealth of positive alternatives. OACC’s foundation is a deeply practical ecological perspective that comprises the heart, and indeed some of the origins, of the worldwide green movement.
You have been at the forefront of making OACC successful by your past co-sponsorships and we are grateful that you have supported our goals and mission. We invite you to be a co-sponsor again this year.
Being a Co-Sponsor means making a $160 contribution. Co-Sponsors can be individuals, groups or businesses. In appreciation of your contribution you will receive
- 2 adult admissions for the entire 2-1/2 days ($100 value)
- Exhibit space at the event ($25 value)
- Recognition at the OACC 39 event
- Recognition in the high-quality 3-color printed brochure (to be included in the printed brochure, we must receive your reply BY JULY 20)
- Recognition on the website as a Co-Sponsor
- Recognition on our highly visited Facebook page
- Recognition in multiple OACC email updates between now and the event
All of this gives you and your business or organization wide exposure and recognition. OACC is organized and run by volunteers. It is not a money-making event for any individual or organization, and we have always been committed to keeping our fees as low as possible. Last year, we faced significant camp rental increases and thus the need to raise more operating funds. Instead of increasing registration fees, which might make it difficult for families to attend, we turned to you, our cosponsors, who came through for us wonderfully. This year, camp fees remain high but we are again NOT raising registration rates. We hope you will continue your support, because Co-Sponsors are the key to keeping our rates affordable.
Co-Sponsorships are accepted at any time. However, to be included in the printed invitations, we must receive your reply BY JULY 20. Fortunately, if you miss this date, you will still be listed on the website and in email updates between now and OACC as soon as we receive your co-sponsorship.
